RESOLVED

Trans-Atlantic Fiber BGP Route Flap Surge (AS209 / Lumen)

July 18, 2026 • 14:22 UTC – 14:38 UTC

At 14:22 UTC, our BGP collector detected a surge of 142 route withdrawals on AS209 affecting Trans-Atlantic transit paths between London (LHR-03) and Ashburn (IAD-04). NETSTATS eBPF probes automatically shifted packet introspection probes to secondary Equinix routes within 42ms.
